Marleen Janssen Groesbeek is policy advisor Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Eumedion. Eumedion is a representative of the interests of institutional investors in the field of corporate governance. Before joining Eumedion in 2010 she had been a financial journalist for 20 years. Almost 18 of those she worked for het Financieele Dagblad, the Dutch equivalent of the Financial Times. The last two years she was managing editor of the FD Weekend supplement.

She also worked for Dutch television. One of her TV-projects was a series of eleven interviews with Dutch CEOs on sustainability. She is a columnist in one of the Netherlands’ leading publications on CSR, P+, people, planet, profit and a frequently asked speaker. In 2001 she published her first book on CSR in the Netherlands. This publication lead to a position (62) in the Dutch Sustainable Top-100. After Maatschappelijk Ondernemen more books followed, not only on sustainability en CSR but also about creativity and leadership. Janssen Groesbeek is an economist, graduated at the University of Amsterdam.
