David Smith

David Smith is the former Chief Economist for the Financial Services Committee for the US House of Representatives where he wrote much of the Dodd/Frank Legislation. Smith is also the former public policy director for the AFL-CIO.

Previously, Smith taught political economy at UMASS Boston and the New School for Social Research.
